Annual Scholarship Award
Each year, the Palms West Chamber raises funds to provide scholarships to worthy high school seniors from six local high schools, including Glades Central, John I. Leonard, Palm Beach Central, Royal Palm Beach, Seminole Ridge and Wellington Community High Schools. In addition, one At-Large scholarship is awarded to a student who resides in the western communities but attends school outside the west central geographic area of Palm Beach County.
Scholarship funding is raised through the annual Holiday Parade which takes place each December in Wellington and is made possible by the Chamber’s partnership with the Village of Wellington and parade sponsors, Royal Palm Toyota and Royal Palm Nissan.
